The fastest way to reach us is by email. We aim to reply within 2 business days (Sydney time).
When emailing about an issue in the app, please include your device model, iOS/Android version, and the WAYR app version (Settings → About) so we can reproduce the problem.
Frequently asked questions
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. Your profile, shelves, ratings, reviews, and reading activity are removed immediately. Backup copies are purged on our standard rotation (within 30 days). You can also request deletion via our account deletion page.
I can't sign in or reset my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the email you signed up with. You'll receive a reset link. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us at cheryl@betterreading.com.au.
A book is missing or has the wrong cover/details.
Book metadata comes from a mix of Open Library, Google Books, and the Australian TitlePage feed. If something is missing or wrong, email us the book title, author, and ISBN (if you have it) and we'll get it corrected.
How do I make my profile, shelves, or reviews private?
In the app: Settings → Privacy Settings. You can set your profile to public or private and independently hide shelves, ratings, reviews, and reading activity from other users.
How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?
Email us at cheryl@betterreading.com.au. Screenshots and steps to reproduce make a big difference.
How do I report inappropriate content or a user?
Tap the … menu on the offending review, comment, or profile and choose Report. Our moderation team reviews reports within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, email cheryl@betterreading.com.au.
