End User Licence Agreement

Effective date: 28 April 2026

This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Better Reading Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) and governs your use of the WAYR mobile application.

For iOS, this EULA is granted in addition to Apple's Standard EULA, which forms the default licensing terms for apps downloaded from the App Store. Where this EULA is silent, Apple's Standard EULA applies.

1. Licence grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use WAYR on iOS or Android devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and our Terms of Service.

2. Restrictions

  • You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by Australian law.
  • You may not remove any proprietary notices or labels from the app.
  • You may not use the app to develop a competing product or to scrape book or user data.

3. Updates and availability

We may release updates to WAYR from time to time. Some updates may require you to install the latest version to continue using the app. We may also pause or discontinue parts of the app at any time, on notice where reasonably practicable.

4. No warranties

The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

5. Termination

This licence is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically without notice if you breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using the app and delete it from your devices. Your account data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

6. Apple-specific provisions

  • This EULA is between you and Better Reading Pty Ltd, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support for the app.
  • In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, with the right to enforce it against you.
